Thomas B. Simmons has over 30 years of experience in construction, sales and service related fields. He has spent 21 of those years working with and operating a fourth generation 100 year old family owned plumbing, heating and cooling business for the founders family including converting it from a construction based company to a 100% service based company that has gone from 3 to 18 service technicians in less than 6 years. Thomas also operated a national Aire Serv franchise as part of the family owned business since June of 2000. By the end of 2002, it was one of the top 4 Aire Serv Franchises by sales in the nation where it has remained each year until 2004 where it became the no. 1 Aire Serv Franchise in the nation by sales. As Thomas will tell you, "it is a dedication to successful systems that have resulted in a successful service company." Even though the company was part of a Plumbing Association and operated a Heating and Cooling Franchise, all the pieces to create a successful program for the entire company were not present. In November of 2001, Thomas unified all service divisions of the family business into one service team and created the "Service Success System" to include employee training, client care, money marketing, mentoring, monitoring and motivating to maximize growth opportunities through existing and target clients. In January of 2002, Thomas created a service referral company designed to generate service opportunities from other service providers by sharing clients through a central call center to maximize service while spending minimal marketing dollars. The power of sharing referral opportunities between service companies has had a dynamic effect on going deeper with services to the same client minimizing the number of clients required annually to meet service goals and operate a successful service program. In March of 2003, Thomas created "Marketing-Methods" to share marketing between service companies to reach out more frequently and efficiently to target clients to create new opportunities with neighbors of existing clients. At each step of the process, Thomas has successfully identified problems and created solutions to maximize service opportunities and minimize expenses to create a service success path for other service companies to follow.
